Isaac and Emily met at school in Virginia Beach. They studied theater and performed together in shows like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat and The Drowsy Chaperone. After years of Isaac pursuing Emily, they got married in May 2014 and moved to Charlotte NC where they worked in professional theatre as well as interum worship at various churches. This then led them to make the move to NYC with little plan outside of the unshakable sense that the Lord was leading them there. Soon after moving, Isaac landed the lead role in the Off-Broadway musical and the doors for Broadway started to open. Soon after this they were hired by and invited to be a part of the founding team of Church of the City New York. After nearly a decade in ministry in New York including starting PrayNYC as well as a creative ministry within Church of the City New York, they felt the Lord lead them to Southern California where they launched Parallel Society.  They feel the lord has equiped them and called them to help build His church to displaying His beauty more cleearly through action and asthetics. They do this by speaking, teaching, and coming along side churches to build out their creative communities and expressions of creativity. They also release worship music as well as Isaac is in the process of writing his first book. Along with their ministry, they have their three boys, Simeon, Silas and Schaffer.
